With the strong purpose of supporting the community of Talara and its districts in these difficult times of struggle to reduce the effects of COVID-19 in the country, Savia Perú in coordination with local authorities has been making donations to health centers in the districts of Negritos, Lobitos, El Alto and Los Órganos.
So far, a first delivery has been made consisting of 1300 masks, 1300 pairs of gloves, 350 surgical aprons, among other implements. In the next few days, a second delivery will be made, consisting of 80 knobs of antibacterial soap and disinfectant, 65 containers of alcohol gel, 4 digital laser thermometers and 1100 liters of sodium hypochlorite. All of this will be used to provide more efficient care for COVID-19 in the health posts in the area.
The company will also donate hygiene and fumigation supplies to municipalities and health posts in the area, which will be used to disinfect high concentration public places such as markets and main streets.
Savia Perú is committed to supporting local authorities in their fight to prevent the massive spread of COVID-19 and urges the inhabitants of the Piura region to remain calm, to organize and inform themselves properly through official channels and to take the hygiene measures that are shared by MINSA and DIRESA.
As for the company, since the day COVID-19 spread began, it has been implementing safety measures in the operation and higher sanitary measures for its personnel, in order to prevent contagion, which have been reported to the authorities.
