Nuestras estrategias de comercialización son definidas de acuerdo con las características distintivas de cada producto que ofrecemos. Por el momento, toda nuestra producción se destina al mercado interno, el cual se ubica geográficamente en la costa y sierra norte del Perú.
Pursuant to the Operations Contract for Block Z-2B, the crude oil extracted is delivered to PETROPERÚ S.A. through a pipeline for processing at the Talara Refinery, located in the province of the same name in the department of Piura.
The commercialization of gas has several alternatives depending on its origin and composition. Traditionally, gas production has come from fields located in Block Z-2B, near the province of Talara, which deliver wet gas. This contains Natural Gas Liquids (NGL), which can be separated and subsequently fractionated to produce Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG, a mixture of propane and butane), and Natural Gas Condensates (NGC, a mixture of pentanes and hexanes) from which solvents are prepared for industry.
The produced volume of wet gas is used for:
We have discovered new gas fields, which development and commercial production is in the final stages of strategic planning. These fields are located in areas near the boundary between Lots Z-2B and Z-6, in the department of Piura.
It is the mixture of light hydrocarbons, mainly propane and butane, obtained by separation of natural gas liquids processed in the Cryogenic Plant of our subsidiary, Procesadora de Gas Pariñas S.A.C. located in the province of Talara, department of Piura.
The main characteristic of LPG is that its components, normally gaseous at ambient conditions, can be stored and handled as liquids by applying moderate pressure at room temperature. This allows it to be packaged and commercialized in 10 kg cylinders throughout the country.
The LPG we sell in the market is mainly intended to supply the northern coast and northern highlands of Peru.
In recent years, our LPG has made inroads into the vehicle market through gas centers and service stations in the northern region of the country. It also meets the quality requirements of Peruvian Technical Standard NTP 321.007.
It is the mixture of light aliphatic hydrocarbons, mainly pentanes and hexanes, obtained by separation and fractionation of natural gas liquids processed at the Cryogenic Plant of our subsidiary, Procesadora de Gas Pariñas S.A.C. located in the province of Talara, department of Piura.
The main characteristic of CGN is its solvent power. Its sale is mainly intended to supply the demand of wholesale distributors of this product, and it complies with the quality requirements of the Peruvian Technical Standard NTP 111.200.
